LITHION TAKES ANOTHER IMPORTANT STEP TOWARDS ACHIEVING BATTERY MATERIAL CIRCULARITY

June 6, 2024 – Lithion Technologies Inc (Lithion), key actor in the creation of circularity in Quebec’s battery industry, is thrilled to have been selected by the government of Quebec for a hydroelectric connection to its hydrometallurgy plant. This news confirms Lithion’s critical role in the success of the battery industry in Quebec and in North America.

Access to green energy is an important decision-making criterion for Lithion in the selection of sites for its plants. With the announcement of its selection, the company can now consider Quebec as a location for its hydrometallurgy facility.

Following the unveiling of its first commercial plant last Monday, today's news represents a major step towards the realization of Lithion's ambitious project of creating a circular supply chain for battery materials on the North American continent.
